In the days before the start of Holy Week, parishioners at St John’s RC Church, Perth, will take part in a Parish Mission entitled, ‘Come Back to Me’, to be led by Fr Gerry Mulligan and Fr Ronald McAinsh from St Mary’s Monastery in the city. It begins by recalling the ‘Gift of Baptism’ and then focuses on Mercy, Healing, the Eucharist, Family Life and Prayer – with talks being given at 7-8pm, in St John’s Melville Street, each evening from Monday 19th to Friday 23rd March.
Fr Gerry is Rector at Kinnoull and Fr Ronnie, Provincial Superior in the UK and Zimbabwe, is a native of the city where his ministry spans over 50 years.
A warm welcome has been extended to all parishioners, but also to all those who may feel that they have lost the practice of their faith and to members of neighbouring parishes and other local churches too.
