Our AGM is being held next Tuesday evening (30th May) at the Bield at Blackruthven. The meeting itself will begin at 7.30p.m. when our guest speaker will be Bishop David Chillingworth from the Scottish Episcopal Church.
It has kindly been suggested that those who wish to, can come earlier and have a picnic in the grounds of the Bield. There is also a delightful exhibition on of art and crafts, all for sale, by local artists, which she is willing to open for PACT for an hour if there is interest in this. Also on offer is a 20 minute guided tour of the Bield for those who haven’t been before.
Suggested timing would be
6pm – arrive and eat (bring your own picnic)
6.30 – 7.30pm – Gallery open
7pm – Guided tour starts from the reception
7.30pm – AGM in the Conference Room.
We are of course hoping for good weather – if it is very inclement, we will e-mail by 3pm in the afternoon to let you know that the picnic part of the evening has been cancelled (not the AGM though!)
We appreciate that the Bield is not the easiest place to reach without a car – so, if you need transport, please get back to me; it would also be helpful to let me know if you are able to offer someone a lift.
Directions are on the Bield website www.bieldatblackruthven.org.uk.
